The Winston-Salem area is a huge supporter of the arts and there is always something to enjoy at Stevens Center for Performing Arts, attend an Opera Productions or visit the Sawthooth Center for Visual Arts. Trade Street in Winston-Salem is known as the ‘arts district’ and during the spring and summer is the location for musical events such as Jazz on 4th, Rock the Block and Alive After 5. The property became part of the Winston-Salem Forsyth County Parks Department in 1977. Tanglewood Park has a lot of great activities for all ages. Lewisville is a quaint community with lots of activity for the residents that call it home.
